Science Programs: Mandatory Group Advising for Summer/Fall 2012

Attend Science Programs Group Advising and preview the Summer/Fall 2012 courses, hear about internship and research opportunities and assess your progress towards graduation.

Science Programs will release your advising registration hold after you attend an advising session.

Registration for Summer/Fall 2012 begins the week of April 9.

Who attends Group Advising?

  • Current Science Programs students with 27+credits
  • Science Programs students with Sophomore or Junior class standing
  • Freshmen, please meet with your SRC Advisor
  • Note: Science Programs students with 90+ credits are not required to attend Group Advising and will have their advising registration hold released.  Schedule an individual appointment as needed.

How to sign-up for Group Advising:

  • Check your class standing on page one of your degree audit report
  • Choose a day and time that fits your schedule
  • Record the day, time and location of your registration
  • All Science Programs Group Advising Sessions are held in the Engineering & Computer Science Building, Room 104 (VECS 104)
  • Bring a copy of your degree audit report and make a plan document to your session

Please choose the appropriate session based on your major. All sessions take place from 4:15 - 5 p.m. in VECS 104.

Science Programs Group Advising for Summer/Fall 2012 is mandatory.
